AX is looking to support the rapidly growing leisure vehicle market with its industry-leading covert tracking and recovery service, AX Track.

As part of its campaign, AX Track will make its inaugural appearance at the Caravan, Camping and Motorhome Show at the NEC in Birmingham (22nd-27th February) where it will showcase AX Track on stand 3004.

Last year saw a record number of new motorhomes being registered due to the growing popularity of staycations, a trend which is expected to continue despite many pandemic restrictions easing. However, this has also led to a rise in caravan and motorhomes being targeted by thieves seeking to capitalise on the demand for valuable leisure vehicles.

According to Club Care Insurance data1 just 3% of stolen caravans are ever recovered. This underlines the urgent need for owners to take extra measures to safeguard their leisure vehicles to increase the chances of a successful recovery.

AX Track combines intelligent tracking technology with its expert recovery team who have over 60 years’ of Policing experience. The covert tracking and recovery service, which has a 99.1% recovery rate, is accredited by insurers and leading security certifications including Thatcham and Secured by Design – the Police Preferred Specification programme.

“Sadly, some owners are leaving their leisure vehicles increasingly vulnerable to theft by failing to take additional security precautions. AX Track offers owners a cost-effective solution which significantly increases both the security of their vehicles and the chances of a successful recovery.

Neil Thomas, Director of Investigative Services at AX

“AX Track is a covert tracking device, meaning it’s almost impossible for criminals to find and, with an exceptionally high recovery rate, our expert team will have the upper hand when it comes to successfully retrieving the vehicle.”
