Few people have more than one accident every six years, so knowing what to do at such a stressful time can be very challenging.
At AX, we help around 30,000 people a year navigate their way through the complexities of the accident claim process ensuring we keep them mobile.
We have increased our electric vehicle fleet and charging infrastructure across all depots to ensure we provide the same like-for-like service expected from our customers.
To provide you peace of mind, on most occasions, we can provide a like for like solution, but if we cannot, our drivers have the expertise and knowledge to explain the controls and provide charging advice at vehicle handover.
The vehicle will be delivered with a full charge and drivers between 18 and 75 will be covered on our insurance.
We also provide short, medium and long term EV rental packages giving you the chance to try a range of EV models at your leisure - please contact us through our contacts form for more information.
Our priority is to get you mobile, but we do so much more
Our team of experienced claims handlers will support you in your claim and take the stress away from dealing with the various parties involved.
If you are unfortunate enough to have an accident that was not your fault, contact us on 03700 116 720 with as much information as possible, to see if we can help you with a replacement vehicle.
If your vehicle cannot be driven, we will deliver a replacement vehicle to you and take yours to the repairer.
If your car can be driven, we will deliver your replacement vehicle to your repairer ready for when you take your car in for repair.
Once we have you mobile again we will process your claim, liaising with the various parties involved, including witnesses, insurers and the repairer, providing you with updates along the way.
When your car is ready for collection, you just take our replacement to the repairer and switch over. Easy.
Assess the situation. If anyone has suffered any injury at the scene of the accident or if there is a risk of fire from leaking petrol or any suspicion that the other driver may be intoxicated through drink or drugs then call the emergency services without delay.
Unless there is real injury or risk to the safety of other motorists arising from the accident, it is unlikely that the emergency services will attend. In those circumstances it is important to record as much as possible from the accident scene.
Being involved in a car accident is a stressful situation and you need to compose yourself and remain calm. You should avoid making any comments about liability for the accident either at the scene or if you are contacted by the other driver or their insurer after the accident.
Anything you say to the other party in relation to liability may be used against you in your claim.
