We are delighted to announce the appointment of Graham Cobb as AX's new Chief Information Officer. Graham, who joins from insurance services business The Phoenix Group, will report directly to our Chief Executive Officer, Lucy Woods.

In his new role, Mr. Cobb will embark on an ambitious strategy of digital transformation to drive growth. This will include spearheading the use of the latest digital technologies to transform AX’s customer and partner experience, as well as improving efficiencies of the company’s operations.

“I’m looking forward to accelerating AX’s digital transformation by enhancing every aspect of our IT infrastructure,” said Mr. Cobb. “From call handling through to claims management and vehicle tracking, my focus is to ensure every part of the journey for our insurance and broker partners is as seamless as possible to provide a better customer experience.”

Mr. Cobb has more than 25 years’ experience in the finance and insurance industry of modernising complex technology platforms. In his previous role as Head of Technology Strategy & Architecture at The Phoenix Group, he transformed Phoenix’s IT infrastructure following the acquisitions of both Standard Life and ReAssure in multi-billion-pound deals.

Previously, he has held senior IT positions at UK insurer NFU Mutual, and at Barclays within its Treasury and Wealth Management divisions.
