Somerset Bridge extends alliance with AX as exclusive outsourced claims handling and repair management partner

Somerset Bridge Group has extended its partnership with AX Automotive three years after the accident management specialist gained exclusivity for its entire non-fault outsourced requirements.

Delivering an innovative insurance provision focussed on underwriting, broker and claims handling services, Somerset Bridge extended the comprehensive partnership with AX Automotive which now incorporates its seamless provision of claims handling, vehicle rental, repair management and total loss expertise.

Non-fault retail customers of the Somerset Bridge and Go Skippy brands have been benefitting from the partnership since 2018, when AX Automotive initially provided hire and repair services before its remit was expanded to include additional services to enhance the customer experience.

The multi-year agreement builds on the five-year relationship between the brands, which has helped to ensure rapid onward mobility and an efficient repair process for thousands of Somerset Bridge and Go Skippy customers.

“It was important for Somerset Bridge to ensure we partnered with a supplier who shared our values and made the process of an accident claim as seamless as possible for our policy holders. Despite a rigorous tender process, AX demonstrated that they continued to be the best partner for our policy holders.”

Melanie Bebbington, Claims Operations Director

Steve Molloy, Director of Commercial Sales at AX, said: “We are very proud of our alliance with Somerset Bridge and excited to receive the news that we’ll be working together for years to come.

“Trust and transparency are vital foundations for most working relationships, and this is no exception – it has enabled us to develop a very efficient, collaborative approach which ultimately enhances the customer experience while delivering a competitive advantage for Somerset Bridge.”
