ITAS Blue LogoAX has formed a strategic partnership with ITAS, the global bodyshop management and training consultancy firm, to strengthen post-accident services for ITAS’s manufacturer partners.

The collaboration brings together ITAS’s extensive experience in driving efficiency and best practice across manufacturers and repairers to offer AX’s end-to-end accident management capability.

The partnership is designed to support a more seamless customer journey following an accident, while providing greater value across the accident repair process.

Under the partnership, AX will provide the post-accident service and customer support capability, ensuring customers are guided through the process efficiently and transparently. This allows manufacturers to remain closely connected to customers at a critical moment, providing the brand assurance that customers trust.

Accident management, repair and retail activities can often operate in silos, leading to a fragmented customer journey.

ITAS is addressing this issue by helping manufacturers to better handle accident-related enquiries, rather than forwarding customers to insurers. This enables improved coordination between drivers, repairers and manufacturers.

Additionally, analysis has shown that customers are more likely to change vehicles following an accident; however, this data from repairers is not shared with dealers and our collaboration offers an opportunity to secure leads and prospects across aftersales and car sales.

Danny Rota, Chief Executive Officer of ITAS, said: “I am really delighted to announce this partnership with AX. I have been working on providing an accident management solution for our clients for some time, but one that focuses on the customer journey and delivers growth through collaboration between our dealers and repairers.

“Our aim is to provide a first-class experience for our customers and to increase the penetration of the collision market opportunity through innovation and technology; AX meets all these requirements.”

“ITAS has no commercial terms with AX, that is not the purpose of this partnership. Our strength has always been our neutrality, in as much as we choose our partners carefully with a singular focus on who can deliver results for our clients.”

The partnership is non-commercial in nature and reflects ITAS’s commitment to selecting partners purely on their ability to deliver clear benefits for clients. Combining AX’s accident management expertise with ITAS’s Bodyshop framework creates a joined-up post-accident experience which benefits all stakeholders and drivers alike.
