Hyundai Motor UK has established new strategic partnerships with AX Motor Assist and Avant, strengthening the support available to Hyundai customers following a vehicle accident and reinforcing the company's commitment to delivering an exceptional ownership experience.

Under the new arrangements, AX Motor Assist will become Hyundai's accident management partner, providing customers with a dedicated accident support service designed to simplify the claims process, keep customers mobile and deliver proactive communication throughout the repair journey.

Avant will manage Hyundai's approved bodyshop programme, helping to ensure vehicles are repaired to manufacturer standards using genuine Hyundai parts and approved repair methods.

Together, the partnerships will create a more connected customer journey from first notification of an accident through to the completion of repairs. Customers will benefit from a single, Hyundai-branded experience focused on convenience, quality, transparency and customer care.

The new accident management service will provide Hyundai customers with access to specialist support following an incident, including claims guidance, repair coordination and replacement vehicle solutions where required. AX Motor Assist was selected following a comprehensive tender process and demonstrated strong capabilities in customer experience and innovative mobility solutions. Avant brings more than two decades of experience in developing and managing manufacturer body and paint programmes.

Stuart Rathbone, Head of Aftersales Commercial at Hyundai Motor UK, said: "Our customers rightly expect a simple, reassuring and high-quality experience when the unexpected happens. The new partnerships with AX Motor Assist and Avant represent a significant step forward in how we support Hyundai owners following an accident.
