If AX receives notification of a penalty, fine or charge, we will attempt to transfer liability to you where possible or, to avoid the amount payable being increased, pay the amount on your behalf and recharge the same to you with an administration charge of £25.
Is the hire vehicle registered on Tyne Tunnel account?
No, you are responsible for all crossings. The crossing will need to be paid by midnight the day after you travel. We refer you to their website which can be found here.
**AX would like to reiterate that in accordance with the hire agreement, any penalties, fines or charges incurred, are the responsibility of the hirer. AX reserves the right to pay the fine and recharge the hirer together with an administration fee.
