Do i need to do anything?

If we’ve instructed Copart to collect your damaged vehicle, you should’ve received a Copart Fact Sheet from us. This will tell you all you need to know, such as what to do with the V5. If you haven’t got this, please contact us via our Live Chat faci

I’m keeping my car and it’s not with me, do I need to do anything?

Yes, you’ll need to make sure your car is moved to a place of free storage (i.e. somewhere it’s not incurring any costs) such as your home address. The reason for this is because if any storage charges are incurred, they may not be recoverable from the at fault insurer and will be your responsibility as the vehicle owner.

Do you need my bank details?

Not unless we receive payment from the at fault insurer via a bank transfer. If this happens, we will contact you.

If I hear or receive anything, do you need to know?

Yes! If you hear from anyone regarding the claim or receive any payments, or gain access to another car, please make sure you notify us immediately. This is to ensure that all claim related costs are fully recoverable from the at fault insurer.
