I have received a payment for repairs (CIL or Cash in Lieu) what do I need to do with this?

If you have received a “cash in lieu” payment, it means the insurer does not want to be responsible for repairing your vehicle and the payment is to settle that aspect of your claim.

It is then your responsibility to repair the vehicle using a repairer of your choice.
